Patchwork Cutter Family Silhouette Set

Patchwork Cutters are shallow cutters. They are useful for decorations that you cut from very thin rolled fondant, or you can use them to press through the coated cake.

For this patchwork cutter use FunCakes fondant with Tylo powder or Wilton fondant.

Before starting, smear a little Crisco on your worksheet (no icing sugar!). Knead the fondant well and then roll out very thinly without lifting the fondant. Make sure that the fondant sits firmly on the worktop. Rub your hands in with a little Crisco and rub it into the Patchwork Cutter. Press the Patchwork Cutter firmly into the fondant. Use miniature tools to remove the excess fondant. Allow the fondant to set for 10 minutes and then gently loosen it.
